Mark’s Finest Papers - http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com/
My first card:
My first card is made with the new set “A Walk in the Woods”. It has the most beautiful trees and sentiments.
This is a CAS style card with just one layer.
I inked the tree image in a deep green colour, huffed and stamped.
I then added some Snow Writer to simulate the snow accumulation on the tree.
I then used a trees border punch at the top of the white, stamped the sentiment and added some square and round dark green gems. Quite simple but I’m pleased with the look.
All supplies used are from Mark’s Finest Papers.
My second card:
My second card is a new set “Greetings of the Season”. Again this is a very beautiful set for the Christmas and Winter seasons.
I used the stamp of a pine branch with pine cones. I inked the set with markers in different shades of green and brown, huffed and stamped the image 2 times. I then line cut the pine cone, added some glitter and popped it up on dimensionals.
I used a square plain and scalloped Nesties and mounted for my main panel.
The base was stamped with a wonderful sentiment in burnt umber Palette ink, a beautiful pine tree image done the same way as the branch and cone and then added a gem flourish to top it all off.
All supplies used are from Mark’s Finest Papers.
Hugs always, Nicole
