FRIENDSHIP...Challenge SC272 at SCS

Another terrific sketch from Roxie, thanks a bunch.

For this sketch I used some beautiful BG/Ambrosia paper with Summer Sun matting. I'm truly sad as this is my last piece of SS.

The oval sentiment is from Fiskars and was inked in More Mustard and Blk. I used a plain and scalloped Nestabilities for matting this sentiment.

I also chose to flip the sketch so that I could use the CB folder Friends Forever on my Very Vanilla panel. For the vertical panel I also added some pretty black lace.

The sentiment tag is popped up and I punched some butterflies "added pearls" for some extra pop.

I hope you like this one...

CAS54 Challenge Spring is in the Air

For this card I used a new stamp set from SU/Garden from the Heart. I love it....
I stamped the hat on WW with Palette Noir black and colored with Copics and then cut the image out.
The dp is by SU/Tea Party. I also used Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla and WW.
For the matting on the main panel I used rectangular Nesties in plain and scalloped.
I popped the hat onto the Very Vanilla panel.
The sketch is from SC266.
I hope it makes you think of Spring which I hope comes real soon.

SC265 challenge at SCS_Get Well Soon!

This is my card for the SC265 challenge at SCS.
For this card I chose to use a digital image from http://digitalpenciltoo.com/index.php/Stamp-Categories.html
and the papers are from http://www.marksfinestpapers.com/servlet/StoreFront
I colored the image with Copic markers. I cut and popped the tissue box and some loose tissues.
The paper is by Basic Grey/Wisteria. I love their dp's.
I added a ribbon "in real life it is the same color as the robe", I'm a little upset that it looks blue and a pearl on the sentiment tab "computer generated".
I hope you like this little guy because I think he looks like he needs lots of Get Well wishes. LOL

Hi! all.

My card is all about having fun in the snow.

This image is by Mo's Digital Pencil: http://digitalpenciltoo.com/index.php/Stamp-Categories.html

I used color pencils and gamsol to color.
To matte my image I used Nestie squares to mount my image, some punched snowflakes with gems, a cute charm and grosgrain ribbon as embellishments.

You can find the papers, ribbon and charms for this card at Mark's Finest Papers : http://www.marksfinestpapers.com/servlet/StoreFront

I hope you will come and play along and don't forget to use the key word StampinB so we can all see your wonderful cards.

All of the papers and ribbon used on this card can be found at:

Mark’s Finest Papers- http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com

The stamp of the Santa face used on my card was borrowed from my friend Sharon. I love this image I think the face is beautiful. I colored just the face with Copic markers, the frame of the glasses was done with a gel pen and I used some crystal effect on the glass parts.

The acetate is cut to make a 51/4" X 51/4" card.

I used my CB and diecuts in 2 different sizes for the frame.I mounted the Santa image on the front of the card and the red matt is mounted right behind it on the inside. I did the same thing for the sentiment panel on the inside so that you cannot see any of the double sided tape that I used.

I used a sticker sentiment on the bottom, the snowflakes are from a MS punch and the glittery red centres are also stickers. To finish I added the beautiful red ribbon. Be sure to check out Mark’s Finest Papers- http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com you can find some great stamping supplies and stamps on this terrific new site.
